Thankfulness, Faith and a Lamp Makeover

This lamp was purchased at a thrift store.  When I bought it it was bright, flashy brass.  Matte black spray paint and a re do of a melted shade has made a sweet little lamp in our living room.

Yesterday my husband came home from a week and a half in the hospital.  I am so completely delighted that the is here with us and on the mend.  Life can feel like the globe in the background -- turned around and upside down.  But I am confident that God is good and in the business of our lives.

I leave you with the scripture that came to me during this difficult time:

Philippians 4:19: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
